Man United defeat in Community Shield

Community Shield mark the beginning of English Premier League. This season Man-Utd, as the English Champion, had to face The Blues, Chelsea, as the winner of FA cup. The line up:

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic (Bosingwa '46), Carvalho, Terry, Cole, Essien, Mikel (Ballack '65), Malouda (Deco '77), Lampard, Drogba, Anelka (Kalou '83)

Manchester United: Foster, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, O'Shea (Fabio '75), Nani (Valencia '62), Carrick, Fletcher (Scholes '75), Park (Giggs '75), Berbatov (Owen '75), Rooney

Didier Drogba get the first chance to score when he was trying to shoot from outside of the box but Ben Foster managed to save it. In the corner Frank Lampard sent the ball flying across United’s goal and the ball met Branislav Ivanovic. Thanks to Patrice Evra, he head the ball out. However it was United that scored first. Nani kicked the ball hard enough that John Terry and Peter Cech cannot anticipate it. 1-0 for United.
Chelsea do not giving up and after the whistle of the second period they managed to score from Carvalho. 1-1. The Match will be more interesting if referee, Chris Foy, do not make human error of his own. Chelsea second goal scored by Frank Lampard began when Evra is down on the ground after Ballack gave him a little punch. The ref did not see this situation and make the match continue. Contrary to his previous decision when United is halfway on counter attack and Ballack is on the ground, Mr. Foy stopped the play and it means stopping United’s attack. 2-1 for Chelsea.
When the community shield is likely to be in Chelsea hand, Wayne Rooney scored! He succeeds to use through pass from Ryan Giggs. United 2-Chelsea 2.

Chelsea win the trophy of Community Shield after two United players Giggs and Evra cannot defeat Chech in penalty shoot out. It means the first trophy for Carlo Ancelotti. We will see how Sir Alex overcome this Mister Italiano.
